Cabbage Soup Diet Recipe

Slow Cooker
Stovetop
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 bay leaf dry
- 2 packets powder miso soup (or 1-3 Tablespoons white miso paste or (optional) vegan miso paste)
- 2 tablespoons parsley fresh, optional for garnish
- 1/2 green cabbage chopped
- 1 cup celery diced
- 1 cup onion diced
- 1 cup carrots sliced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 4 cups vegetable broth (or chicken broth)
- 2 cups tomatoes diced
- 1 teaspoon oregano dry
- 1/2 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
Instructions
Slow Cooker
- In a slow cooker add all the ingredients. Cook for 6-8 hours on low. Serve with bread or crackers (gluten-free) and garnish with fresh parsley.
Stovetop
- Add all the ingredients in a large pot and turn the heat to high. When it starts to bubble on the sides, cover and turn the heat down to medium heat. Cook for about 20-30 minutes or until the carrots are soft.
